Question 1

How much does a bathroom renovation cost in Adelaide?

Accepted Answer

The cost of a bathroom renovation varies significantly depending on the size of the room, the extent of structural changes (like moving plumbing), and the quality of fixtures and tiles you select. We don't provide generic price ranges because every project is unique. The best way to get an accurate price is to book a free, no-obligation design consultation and quote.

Question 2

How long does a standard bathroom renovation take?

Accepted Answer

A typical full bathroom renovation takes between 3 to 4 weeks from the start of demolition to the final handover. This timeline can extend to 4-6 weeks for complex luxury renovations or if custom-made cabinetry is required.

Question 3

Do I need to organize my own plumber and electrician?

Accepted Answer

No, you don't. We provide a complete end-to-end project management service. We coordinate our trusted team of licensed plumbers, electricians, waterproofers, and tilers, so you only ever have to deal with one dedicated project manager.

Question 4

Do you provide a warranty on your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. We provide a comprehensive workmanship guarantee on all our structural and installation work, in accordance with South Australian building regulations. This is in addition to the standard manufacturer warranties on all the fixtures, tapware, and appliances we install.

Question 5

Will I be without a toilet or shower during the renovation?

Accepted Answer

If you are renovating your only bathroom, there will be a period where the facilities are out of action. We work efficiently to minimize this downtime, but we highly recommend making alternative arrangements (such as using a second bathroom, staying with family, or hiring a portable ensuite) for the duration of the build.

Question 6

Can you help with the design and selecting fixtures?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our free design consultation includes expert guidance on layout optimization, color palettes, and selecting the right tiles and fixtures to match your style and budget. We're here to help you navigate the countless options available.

Question 7

Do I need council approval for my bathroom renovation?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, internal bathroom renovations do not require council approval. However, if the renovation involves structural changes to the building (like moving external walls or adding windows) or is part of a larger extension, approval may be needed. We will advise you on this during the consultation phase.

Question 8

Are you fully licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are fully licensed to carry out building work in South Australia, and we hold comprehensive public liability and construction insurance to protect you and your property throughout the renovation.

Question 9

Can I supply my own tiles and fixtures?

Accepted Answer

While we prefer to supply the materials to ensure quality control and manage warranties effectively, we can accommodate clients who wish to supply their own specific items. We will discuss this during the quoting stage.

Question 10

How do we get started?

Accepted Answer

The first step is to contact us to arrange a free, in-home design consultation. We'll visit your property, discuss your ideas, measure the space, and provide you with a detailed quote.
